Personality:
Tra is as headstrong and impulsive as he is a gifted pilot and leader. He is outgoing and loves to be in the center of the action. It doesn't matter if the action is in a Viper or a bar room fight. He smokes and drinks too much, but manages to keep it off duty. Duty and honor are not just words to him, they are life.

Bio.

Tra was not just raised in the military, but at times it seemed that he was raised by the military. Growing up in Capiaca city he managed to lead an almost normal life. Both his mother and father were career military, both served on battlestars and were home seldom. His early years were spent in boarding schools and with the sister of his mother. He never felt abandoned or neglected. He figured his solitude was the price he had to pay for his mother and father to keep the colonies safe.

At 18 Tra was accepted to the Colonial Military Academy, where he was given his first taste of being in the military and not just being a child of the military. He was the model cadet. Strong, smart, a born leader. Nothing the instructors or upperclassmen could throw at him seemed to slow him down. He was the one the other cadet came to for help for everything from trouble a home to class work. He quickly rose through the ranks to cadet Cmdr. His class graduated an unheard of 98% of cadets and Tra graduated with honors.

Arriving at OCS he learned that on the way home his mother, father and his fiancee had been killed when the door of an orbital shuttle malfunctioned and opened while in flight. The oxygen was vented into space.There were no survivors. This event changed him. Turning down a chance to take leave he went through OCS. From that moment, the military became the only thing he had in his life. Nothing else mattered.

While his performance at the basic and flight schools were all graded as outstanding, Tra did develop a few flaws that he had not had before. He had started to drink. Never on duty, but more often than he should. With the drinking came fighting and the occasional trip to a local jail or the brig.

Once he was done with training he was transferred to the Battlestar Pegasus and attached to VF-34, The Stingers. Upon arriving with three of his classmates, the Pegasus was assigned to a combined action exercise CAX (War games) against two Battlestars. To keep the nuggets out of the way, the squadron commander put Tra in command a four Viper flight escorting a recon Raptor. The recon was to the rear of the Pegasus in controlled space. Twenty minutes after the recon flight left, the combined squadrons from the two "enemy" Battlestars staged a sneak attack that destroyed the CAP and disabled the launch tubes on Pegasus. Leading the recon flight under a electronic screen from the Raptor, Tra attacked the numerically superior force using the same sneak attack tactics they had used to attack the Pegasus. He managed to "shoot down" ten of the attackers with his flight racking up another ten kills. This broke the back of the attack and allowed the Pegasus enough time to repair he simulated damage to the launch tubes and launch the alert Vipers. This earned him the call sign Achilles and a quick promotion to Lt. Two days later Achilles was arrested for a bar room fight on Picon. A demotion and transfer followed quickly
