Biography

Sebastian and Ana were from different worlds, one a career military and the other a doctor serving on Picon. It was by chance they happened to meet each other during the first cylon war. He was treated by her and they fell in love with each other and it wasn’t until after the cylon war ended when they decided to get married, that and Ana was pregnant.

With his military career changing to more desk like work, they settled down on Picon just in time when Erin was born. Her mother was the dominate parent that raised her during childhood into teenage, mostly away from the military but as she got older, Erin grew fond of the military and so she worked hard to build herself to military standards.

During this time her sister and her grew closer, making a pact to join the military together but during the early stages where she was nearing the end and Sophia was at the start, things changed. Sophia withdrew her candidacy and got married and started a family on Aerelon.

At first she was a little disappointed in her sister but then she realized what she was gaining out of it. She continued on at the Picon Military Academy where she quickly graduated and able to move onto the more advanced flight school. The Picon Fleet Aviation School was where she continued her flight training which she absolutely loved and after a lot of hard work and determination she qualified from flight school and could now begin an interesting career in the Colonial Fleet.

The Battlestar Triton was her first official assignment where she served as Lieutenant Junior Grade for a year and a half before being upgraded to a full Lieutenant. Her military career was starting well and her personal life was also off to a flyer when she met and fell in love with a young Lieutenant, Yuri Sazhin. She served aboard the Triton for three years before returning to the Picon Fleet Academy Command.

It was a hard assignment, being away from Yuri for large periods of time but the time she did get to see him was the happiest in her life. Her assignment at the Picon Fleet Academy Command was mostly small and nothing too serious but it was able to further her career. She got married to Yuri while they were both on leave.

Erin applied herself completely to each duty she was given and before long she was assigned back to the more active areas of Military life on the Battlestar Avalon. She served on the Avalon for about a year, getting to know everyone and getting settled when her whole world was turned upside down when the Cylon’s launched there attack on the colonies.

Before anyone knew what was happening a third of the fleet was destroy including the Triton which her husband served aboard. She was in tatters as she tried to do her job which she did despite her loss and after the Avalon escape she attempted to gather herself which took months.

When she did manage to get her act together she concentrated full on her job, not letting her massive loss take over her because everyone had lost someone and as a military officer coming from a military family….she had to be strong. Her job was the way to keep things focused.
