Personal History: Following the Death of his wife, during the final moments of evacuation and FTL jump from New Caprica. Benton became extremely closed off, refused to work, and days later suffered a nervous break down. Distraught and directionless, he began wondering the fleet aimlessly, before being found more than a month later passed out at a bar aboard the Space Park.
Though inebriated and belligerent, he was immediately taken in by the welfare officer, and following more than 6 months of rehab, and counseling, he slowly began to recover. In an effort to have some focus and to become active again, the welfare officer eventually appointed him an officer to the space park security force. Where he gradually began to socialize and assert himself, both physically and mentally.
Interests: A proud and accomplished equestrian, he was a member of the scorpian police mounted musical ride.
